 Q: What is the Canopy Tour?
 A: CANOPY TOUR de los Veranos is an exciting eco-adventure in Puerto Vallarta that allows you to safely zip from tree to tree on a total of 14 cables [the longest is 400 meters] over the jungle and the breathtaking Orquidias River.
 Q: How much does the Canopy Tour Cost?
 A: Canopy Tours de los Veranos cost just $79 USD for adults and $58 USD for children ages 6-12. *Prices are subject to change depending on the daily exchange rate.
 Q: How long does the tour take?
 A: The tour takes about four hours, from the time we pick you up at the Canopy Tour office [on the south side of Vallarta, next to the PEMEX gas station on the highway to Mismaloya,] to your return. After your adventure you are welcome to stay and swim in the river, enjoy cocktails at the palapa bar, or have lunch at Pancho's Last Resort. Return transportation departs for Puerto Vallarta every 45 minutes.
 Q: How do we get there?
 A: Los Veranos provides tour participants with complimentary round-trip transportation from our 3 pick up & drop off locations. Free shuttles depart daily from our offices on the south side of Puerto Vallarta next to the PEMEX gas station on the highway to Mismaloya [HWY 200] at 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, and 2 pm. If you are staying on the south coast of Vallarta, you can catch our shuttles on the street in front of Le Kliff Restaurant at 9:15, 10:15, 11:15, 12:15, 1:15, and 2:15. If you are staying in Nuevo Vallarta, our shuttle runs from the Hacienda Palma Real Hotel at 9:15 am. Please arrive at the check-in point 15 minutes prior to your reserved departure time.
 Q: I'm arriving by cruise ship. Is there anything
I should know?
 A: Yes. If traveling to Puerto Vallarta by Cruiseship, please state the ship's time of arrival, keeping in mind that Vallarta is on CENTRAL TIME. Cruise ship passengers should book tours that leave from the Canopy Tour Office at 11 am or later. The Canopy Tours de Los Veranos office is approximately 20 minutes South of the Cruise Ship Terminal. Please note that a cab ride from the Puerto Vallarta Maritime Terminal to our office costs approximately $4 USD per person.
 Q: Are Canopy Tours safe?
 A: Absolutely! At Canopy Tours de los Veranos, safety is a top priority. Our friendly and experienced staff will give you a detailed safety briefing, taking you step-by-step through your upcoming adventure before your tour begins. We use only professional climbing harness, and participants are under the care and control of qualified personal at all times.
 Q: Are there any restrictions?
 A: Yes. Due to the nature of the tour, there is a weight limit of 250 lbs/115 kilos. We do our best to accommodate the special needs of physically challenged and disabled individuals, however, people with the following conditions can NOT participate in the Canopy Tour: • Children under 6 • Pregnant women • People with heart conditions • Persons with chronic back pain or
shoulder problems • People who are unable to walk up steps • Intoxicated individuals
 Q: Is there anything for non-participants to do?
 A: Those who are "a little less adventurous" can spend their time enjoying water slides and swimming, shopping at the tiendita, relaxing in the shade, devouring delicious International favorites and Mexican food at Pancho's Last Resort Restaurant, sampling some of the 80 different kinds of Tequila at our palapa bar, or simply basking in the sun.
 Q: What is the price for non-participants?
 A: We offer non-participants round-trip transportation from Puerto Vallarta to the Los Veranos ecological preserve for $20 USD per person, and from Nuevo Vallarta for just $25 USD per person. Children under 10 do not pay transportation fees.
 Q: Will we see wildlife?
 A: Yes! With everything from toucans and tarantulas at our canopy tour center to bromelias, philodendron, strangler figs, termite nests and migrating parakeets in the tropical jungle, you'll be amazed by the profuseness of flora and fauna that coexists here at the Los Veranos ecological preserve.
 Q: What should we bring/wear?
 A: You should wear comfortable clothing you don't mind getting a little dirty. Most of our clients take the Canopy Tour in shorts, T-shirts and gym or hiking shoes. Cameras must have a strap and long hair must be tied back. Do not forget to bring bug repellent, a swimsuit and a towel (November-July) for swimming in the river. Free lockers are available for storing personal belongings.
 Q: How do we make reservations?
 A: You can make your reservation - and save 15% - by filling out our online reservation form. Canopy Tours de los Veranos will process your reservation and send a confirmation notice to the email address you provided. Be sure to bring it with you when you check in for the tour.
