Rescued Animal Sanctuary

Since the Los Veranos Canopy initially opened its gates we added an animal sanctuary that includes many species including monkeys, turtles, iguanas, tejons [look it up], snakes and birds, such as macaws and toucans.  You can hold and play with our monkeys.  Our animal sanctuary is sanctioned by the Government of Mexico.

Tequila Tasting Experience

Restaurant

Los Veranos Café has been rated number one in Puerto Vallarta over all other adventure parks. The café is perched along the Horcones River with amazing views. We offer a very healthy and delicious menu developed by a renowned chef.

Our menu includes a variety of Mexican delights, pizzas, hamburgers, and other tasty alternatives in addition to our alcohol and coffee bar menu. Try our Margaritas! We also have tequila tasting featuring our own Los Arcos Tequila with over 10 different tequilas.

If that is not enough, we offer massage treatments in our tranquil location adjoining the river.

Let the thrill of your adventure tour begin, either by our Jungle vehicles or our Apex boats. If you are traveling on our Apex boats you will leave from the Puerto Vallarta marina or Paradise Village Marina on board our large speed boats known as an APEX boat. The boats are very comfortable and are built to glide on the water at speeds up to 40 mph - usually, you can’t even feel a ripple. As you jet across the bay you will be able to admire the beautiful views of Puerto Vallarta, the world-famous Los Arcos Islands, and Marine Preserve. You can also enjoy your adventure tour with our land-only transportation in our open-air jungle trucks or vans.

As to safety, we are very mindful of this. We know that it can be some may be anxious riding a zip line in the jungle however, don’t worry. Our staff are specially trained and are experts in what they do. Our equipment is of the highest quality and is checked daily. This includes making sure our lines are in perfect condition each day. 1Where is Los Veranos Canopy Tour located?
Los Veranos Canopy Tour takes place at our private reserve located in the heart of the Sierra Madre, which is situated approximately 10 km south of Puerto Vallarta. It is approximately a 25 minute drive from the downtown area. On the way to our property, you will experience the drive along Banderas Bay and travel through a couple of local villages.
2How difficult is the zip line activity?
There is a moderate amount of hiking from one zip line to the next one. Some steps and a 10 minute walk on incline and dirt trail will be required.
3I have someone in my group that is not interested in zip lining, can you ride along and enjoy the property?
Absolutely. We offer a “Transportation Only” option. They will be entitled to enjoy all of the benefits except zip lining. The property is amazing and located alongside the Horcones River. Bring a book if you like!
4Will I get dirty, what should I wear?
We would recommend that you wear comfortable clothing and shoes with a heel strap (preferably tennis type shoes). We always recommend bug spray too.
5Can I bring a bathing suit and towel?
Yes, we have lockers to store your belongings. Weather permitting. During the rainy season, it may not be possible to swim in the rive
6Will I need to repel or get wet?
This tour does not involve any repelling or dunking in the water. The only way you will get wet, is if it rains or if you jump in the river!
7Are lockers provided?
Yes, we provide lockers free of charge.
8Is food and drink included?
No, though we do offer a full restaurant and bar service. You pay for whatever you choose to order.
9Can I take a camera on the tour?
We do not encourage customers to bring cameras on the tour since many are dropped and cannot be recovered. We do allow customers to bring cameras if they have a wrist strap.
10Are there water stations on the tour?
We have several water stations located throughout the zip line tour.
11Are pictures and video available for purchase?
Yes, we have a staff of professional photographers and videographers.
12Can I take this tour if I am pregnant?
For safety reasons, we do not allow any participants to go on the zip line adventure if they are pregnant.
13What is the minimum age and height?
The minimum age is 5 years old and height is 40 inches.
14 What is the maximum weight allowed?
285 lbs. / 129 kg.
15Will the tour be canceled in the event of rain?
No, our canopy tour operates in the rain or shine, but water activities might be canceled due to weather conditions.
